The Borra Caves is one of the major attractions in this valley and it is one of the largest caves in India; located in Ananthagiri hills of Aruka Valley. The walls of caves has different shaped and sized of Stalactites and Stalagmites. There are different legend associated with caves. One of the interesting is one day a cow grazing on the top of caves was fallen through a big hole in the roof. After few days the owner was searching for the cow and came across the caves. First when he saw the caves he was amazing and found a stone resemble with a Lingam of Lord Shiva. When he went back to the village he scattered this story to all the villagers. The villagers constructed a temple for Lord Shiva outside the cave and started worship.
Other places of tourist interest are Bheemunipatnam Beach, Ananthagiri Hills, Araku Tribal Museum, Katiki Waterfalls, Tyda Park, Padmapuram Botanical Gardens, Matsyagundam and Dumbriguda Waterfalls.
